Everything started a few years back during our daily visits to the mountain to hunt mushrooms. Initially we created the Mushroom Society of Western Macedonia followed, almost simultaneously, by the creation of 8 more Societies in Greece and Cyprus! The Pan-Hellenic Mushroom Festival was then born in Grevena city which currently is the biggest celebration of mushrooms in Greece.
One of the organizers of the event and co-founder of the Mushroom Society of Grevena, Fotis Paraskevaidis, took the next step, to create a shop with products solely from mushrooms. Thus tomanitari.gr was born!
